Smoke-Roasted Wild Pollan
Produced using Lough Neagh Pollan, an EU registered PDO product.
(Pack contains two fillets, total at least 80g)
Our Wild Pollan comes from Lough Neagh. It is a unique type of fresh water herring that became trapped in Lough Neagh after the last ice age. It is delicate and delicious.
INGREDIENTS: Lough Neagh Pollan (fish), Sea Salt, Sugar, Beech Wood Smoke.
ALLERGEN ADVICE: For allergens, see ingredients listed in bold.
STORAGE: Keep refrigerated from 0-5degC. Eat within 24 hours of opening and
before use-by date. Suitable for Freezing: Freeze at or below -18degC before the use-by date and consume within one month. Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator. Once
defrosted, do not refreeze, keep refrigerated and
use within 24 hours.
Cold - Best eaten at room temperature. Remove from fridge and allow to sit for a few minutes before serving. Hot - Can be kept in bag & simmered in hot water for 10mins.
Or, remove from
bag, heat in a covered oven dish, in a pre-heated oven at 140degC/275degF for 12-15 mins or until hot.
